A separate room with full bath reachable only from the outside offers privacy and the same visual enjoyment as that of the main structure. Heating is by a zoned oil-fired, hot water system, allowing heat to be provided only where needed. Similarly, air conditioning is provided by independent mini-split systems which allow for individual control as needed. Anderson casement windows, sliding glass doors, plus a prevailing breeze from Vineyard Sound offer natural ventilation throughout. The exterior decking extends across the rear of the dwelling on both levels, across a 2-vehicle carport, ending at an outdoor shower. The decks are joined by a wide stairway gently sloping down from the carport to the lower level.
