Charming Colonial Style home with 20' x 40' pool, lots of light throughout, and an all new contemporary interior on three levels. The owners have just completed renovations of the interior for the 2013 season. The main living level features a large great room with windows wrapping the entire room, electric fireplace, and flat screen TV. Gorgeous designer furnishings enhance the appeal of this sun porch style living area, a great place to kick back and relax after a day at the beach.
A modern updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, breakfast bar and a spacious dining area with farmers table open onto the expansive mahogany deck.
There are four lovely bedrooms: The 1st level bedroom with king size bed is adjacent to a full bath. The 2nd level hosts 3 bedrooms, bedroom 1 with a king, the 2nd bedroom with a queen and the 3rd with two singles and each shares one full bath located on the 2nd level.
Additional sleeping space is provided in the lower level family room which features 2 Futons, a 40" screen TV and games.
The expansive deck overlooks a private yard and a new 20' x 40' pool. The deck will be outfitted with a dining table and 6 chairs and various other seating, in addition there will be 4 chaise lounge chairs by the pool. The deck also has a spacious closed in outdoor shower area.
For your enjoyment: pool, outdoor shower area, gas grill, horseshoe pit, table tennis, Wi-Fi, A/C in all rooms (with the exception of lower level family room), 2 40" TV's, - one in the main living area and one in the lower level family room.
Points of interest: Ideally located close to Edgartown village, visitors will enjoy upscale shops, fine dining, galleries, historic whaling homes and the picturesque Edgatown Harbor Area. Bike paths to town and miles of touring trails begin just a half mile from the house. Renters can access the gorgeous Katama South Beach area via a short drive down a well maintained gravel road or the take the slightly longer route on the main roads. A stop at Morning Glory Farm for bake goods, great coffee and large selection of island grown fresh vegetables is a must for summer visitors.
Kayak enthusiats will enjoy the close proximity to the Edgartown Great Pond, notably one of the most gorgeous kayaking points on Martha's Vineyard. Launch area and parking just a short mile from this lovely home. Joseph Silvia State Beach with calm water swimming preferred by some families is also easily accessible from this outstanding vacation home.
