CLASSIC, IN-TOWN EDGARTOWN, ENGLISH-COUNTRY CHIC LUXURY HOME WITH POOL AND MANICURED GROUNDS

Exquisite home in the village of Edgartown that exudes classic taste with English-Country styling.  This in-town location makes it easy to stroll down to dinner on the harbor or walk Fuller Beach in the morning. The lushly manicured rear yard has an in-ground pool worthy of a boutique hotel, and a separate guest apartment for visitors.

Inside the door, you’ll find an eat-in kitchen, and comfortable seating in the wicker chairs and at the chef’s island. A butler’s pantry provides additional meal preparation space for large, family dining conveniences.  The formal dining area, with bold blue-painted chairs and bamboo chandelier, is flanked by colorful Majolica dishes and platters. A set of french doors leads to a gorgeous sunroom overlooking the yard and pool area. The formal living room has remote-controlled drapery overlooking the pool area, and comfortable sofa and chairs in ivy print, harkening back to the days of tennis whites and cocktail hours in Edgartown. A double bedroom with private bath sits off the living room.

The den area is filled with lovely nautical memorabilia, and comfortable seating to watch the large, flat-screen TV. The queen primary bedroom is situated in a private wing, with remote-controlled drapery, a television, and a french door leading to a private terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds and pool.

The Primary Bedroom has a private, en-suite bath with glass-enclosed shower and fine marble appointments.

The second floor has a bedroom with a queen with a dutch-door and private deck area which leads to the widow’s walk. A bedroom with two twin beds shares a bath with that bedroom. Two more bedrooms provide a queen and two additional twin beds in the “Lighthouse” room, with french doors overlooking another outdoor deck area with views of town. Additional, and separate, guest quarters are available atop the carriage house, which has two twin beds, air conditioning, a private bath, and flat-screen television.

This home is a fine example of why families choose to stay in Edgartown. The pool and grounds will delight you, and the comfort and location of this home will bring you back year-after-year.
